Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Senior or Principal Stress Engineer to join the Analysis Team, based at Warrington or Didcot. You will deliver FE solutions and hand calculations for consultancy projects for internal and external clients, producing complete calculation or FE analysis reports.

The role includes supervising small teams, engaging with clients to clarify requirements, and ensuring outputs meet quality and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with FE analysis and hand calculations for consultancy projects.
• Proficiency in: ANSYS, CAESAR II, LS-DYNA, Hyperworks or Staad Pro/Robot.
• Understanding of Industry codes and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, delivery within time and budget, and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out FE analyses and hand calculations for consultancy projects.
• Supervise colleagues and coordinate small teams; ensure output quality.
• Support clients in identifying and clarifying requirements; deliver analysis reports.
