Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Leeds is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant to join Programme Advisory. You will act as Sponsor for major infrastructure initiatives, guiding strategy and ensuring delivery across projects, programmes or portfolios.

You will manage client relationships, develop business cases, realise benefits, and drive efficiencies while navigating regulatory and financial constraints within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sponsorship roles for large-scale infrastructure or capital projects.
• Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Understanding of project lifecycle stages and business case development.
• Ability to navigate planning, regulatory and environmental constraints.
• Strong commercial acumen in investment planning and negotiations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Occupying client or service roles involving Sponsorship and/or Strategic Requirements.
• Managing client relationships.
• Identifying and realising business development opportunities.
• Leading or contributing towards the preparation of bid proposals or managing key bids.
• Leading internal initiatives within the Programme Advisory team, such as the development of programme integration products and methodologies.
