Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Consultant to join the Programme Advisory team in the UK to sponsor major transport, defence, utilities and power programmes. You will lead or steer Sponsorship and strategic requirements across the full development lifecycle, ensuring governance and delivery against planned benefits.

Qualifications

Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
Experience mapping benefits and defining project requirements.
Knowledge of planning, regulatory, political and environmental constraints.
Strong commercial acumen with investment planning and negotiations.
Experience managing risks, schedule, funding, resources and delivery.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to customer, community and stakeholder outcomes.
Experience driving innovation and resilience in teams.

Responsibilities

Occupying client or service roles involving Sponsorship and/or Strategic Requirements
Managing client relationships
Identifying and realising business development opportunities
Leading or contributing towards the preparation of bid proposals or managing key bids
Leading internal initiatives within the Programme Advisory team, such as the development of programme integration products and methodologies.
