Job summary

Pell Frischmann Group Ltd. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead civil highway design across UK transport projects, helping shape innovative, sustainable infrastructure.

You will oversee feasibility through detailed design, manage client interfaces, and develop teams while delivering complex schemes for public and private sector clients, including major frameworks in Birmingham and across the Midlands.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
• Solid written English for reports
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in teams or autonomously

Responsibilities

• Lead technical contributions to projects and support BD
• Perform complex technical, professional and financial activities
• Liaise with stakeholders on professional matters
• Develop long-term client relationships and secure ongoing work
• Manage medium to multiple small projects with complex features
• Ensure scope changes are documented and approved with the Client
• Act as technical lead and mentor the team
