Job summary

The Health and Safety Partnership Limited is seeking a CDM Consultant / Principal Designer to join our expanding team. The role involves managing a varied portfolio of projects, providing practical CDM advice and helping clients meet statutory responsibilities.

You will engage with clients, designers and contractors, prepare key CDM deliverables, and contribute to the business's ongoing development. The position is hybrid with an expectation to attend the Derby office about one day per week.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification or degree in Construction/Health & Safety
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Acting as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations on a range of construction projects
• Advising clients, designers and contractors on CDM compliance and health & safety
• Preparing and reviewing Pre-Construction Information Packs
• Producing CDM Risk Registers, Construction Phase Plans and Health & Safety Files
• Undertaking site inspections and providing practical guidance
• Building strong working relationships with clients and project teams
• Supporting the continued development of best practice across the business
