Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Guildford is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead development infrastructure projects across the UK. You’ll design highways and drainage, produce Flood Risk Assessments, and mentor junior engineers within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

I'm working with a growing engineering consultancy who are looking to add a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to their team in Guildford.

The business works across the UK on development-led projects, providing transport planning and infrastructure design services to both public and private-sector clients.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer who wants to take more ownership of projects, work closely with clients and have a clear route to progression within a growing team.

The Role

You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a range of development infrastructure projects, with responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and delivery of development-focused civil engineering projects

About You

We're looking for a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer with strong experience in development infrastructure, particularly highways and drainage. You'll ideally have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience delivering Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Good knowledge of highways and drainage design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Chartered status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous
