Job summary

TimePlan Education is recruiting an Experienced Teaching Assistant for a Lewisham primary school. The role starts ASAP, full-time long-term, with a competitive daily rate depending on experience.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support day-to-day learning, deliver targeted interventions and support pupils across reading, writing and maths, including SEND and diverse needs. Join a collaborative team and make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Ability to support learning across key stages and abilities.
• Knowledge of SEND and diverse learning needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the class teacher to support day-to-day learning.
• Delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions.
• Supporting pupils across phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Providing additional support for pupils with SEND and diverse needs.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Assisting with classroom routines, preparation and organisation.
