Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Lewisham’s primary schools. The role involves working with EYFS, KS1 or KS2 pupils, delivering 1:1 support, small group activities and helping with phonics, literacy and numeracy.

Full-time roles are paid £100-£117 per day, with start ASAP or September; a supportive team environment and DBS required or willingness to apply. Positions available across Lewisham schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience in a school, nursery, tutoring, childcare or youth work setting desirable.
• Patient, positive and reliable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs.
• Genuine interest in education and child development.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a primary school setting. The schools are looking for confident, proactive and nurturing candidates who can support pupils in class, work with small groups and provide 1:1 support where needed.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, graduate, aspiring teacher, or someone with strong childcare, tutoring or youth work experience.

The Role:

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Work with pupils on a 1:1, small group and whole-class basis
