Deploy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Primary Design Engineer to lead high-quality primary engineering designs for HV substations and power infrastructure projects. The role involves mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with project managers and clients, and delivering compliant, technically robust designs.

You will operate within a hybrid or remote setup, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive technical delivery and project success for major energy

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant HV primary design experience (33kV-400kV).
• Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and development of primary engineering solutions for HV substations and associated infrastructure.
• Produce and review primary design deliverables including layouts, GA drawings, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, client specifications, and safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, checking, and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, cost estimates, and risk assessment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
