Job summary

Bigblue UK in London is seeking an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager to take ownership of large-scale commercial office pre-construction work from brief through tender to construction. You will lead the team, manage budgets and pre-construction strategy, and collaborate with clients, design, commercial and delivery peers to ensure successful delivery.

The role also involves mentoring a junior team member and driving best practices across projects.

• Strong experience within commercial office fit-out / Design & Build
• Track record successfully running larger and more complex pre-construction projects
• Commercially strong, confident with clients and capable of independently leading projects up to £10m
• Someone who enjoys helping develop others

Responsibilities

• Leading pre-construction on commercial office fit-out projects up to £10m
• Taking projects from initial brief and tender through to construction
• Managing budgets, cost plans, programmes and overall pre-construction strategy
• Working closely with clients, design, commercial and delivery teams
• Managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain
• Leading pitches, presentations and client meetings
• Identifying risk and ensuring projects are properly set up for delivery
• Mentoring and developing a junior member of the team

I’m working with a fantastic, well-established London Design & Build firm looking to bring in an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager.

They’ve been around for a long time and have built a reputation for delivering some of the best-designed workplace projects in London. Despite being a larger, established business, they’ve maintained a genuine family feel, look after their staff and have a strong team culture.

This is a senior role taking ownership of large-scale commercial office projects up to £10m, while also helping develop and mentor a more junior member of the pre-construction team.
