Job summary

CDM Recruitment seeks an experienced Design/Pre-Construction Manager to lead M&E projects in the Newcastle region, guiding design and pre-construction phases and collaborating with architects, engineers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

You will manage coordination of M&E services, develop cost-effective solutions, support bids, and oversee handover from design to construction, while leading engineers, designers and estimators toward project goals in a fast-paced sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in design and pre-construction management within the M&E sector.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with UK construction standards and Newcastle region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and pre-construction phases for a range of M&E projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure optimal project delivery.
