Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major building services packages in Newcastle, guiding the project through pre-construction, planning, installation and commissioning. You will coordinate with design teams and subcontractors, monitor schedules, ensure quality and safety, and drive on-time delivery across commercial and residential works.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record delivering complex projects

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and familiarity with project management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all phases of the electrical and wider MEP services project delivery cycle: pre-construction, planning, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Oversee implementation of all MEP deliverables and ensure compliance with specifications and requirements
• Coordinate with design teams to secure timely and accurate technical information for installation works
• Monitor project programmes, review progress, and ensure all works stay on schedule
• Inspect electrical installations against agreed quality plans and enforce best practice
• Maintain the highest standards of site safety and compliance at all times
• Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, design teams, and the overall project team
