Job summary

Cardinal Medical Practice is a busy, forward-thinking training practice in Ipswich seeking an experienced Practice Manager to provide strategic leadership, guidance to the Partners, and oversight of the non-clinical team.

You will lead governance, finance, estates, PCN relationships, and drive digital transformation and continuous improvement while maintaining a patient-focused culture supporting staff to thrive.

Qualifications

• Significant senior management experience within NHS primary care.
• Experience leading a management team and broad workforce.
• Experience within a GP training practice.
• Experience of PCN administration or support.
• Knowledge of PCN structures and Network Contract DES.
• Understanding of primary care regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of the practice.
• Support and mentor the Operations Manager and senior team.
• Ensure CQC readiness and contractual compliance.
• Lead on estates, business continuity and resilience.
• Drive digital transformation and quality improvement.
• Build relationships with PCN, ICB, and external partners.
• Foster a patient-focused culture and staff wellbeing.
