Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking a Band 7 Practice Educator to lead practice learning and support supervisors and assessors. You will develop placements, recruit students, and ensure high standards of education in partnership with Universities and NHS colleagues.

The post requires NMC registration, a level 6 qualification, and a teaching/assessing qualification or willingness to achieve it within a year; CPD and leadership development are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Study at level 6 (BSc/degree level).
• Teaching &/or assessing qualification required or willing to undertake within 1 year.
• Current Demonstrable CPD required.
• Master's degree in a relevant subject or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality practice learning by developing and supporting practice supervisors and assessors according to NMC standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, education providers and external partners to develop placement capacity and ensure quality.
• Contribute to student recruitment, curriculum development, quality assurance, and professional development.
