Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in Holsworthy, Devon, is seeking an experienced Senior Practice Accountant to join its established team. You will own a varied client portfolio and take the lead on accounting and taxation work.

You will prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior staff while working with Directors to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice with client work.
• Ability to manage client relationships and tax work.
• ACA/ACCA advantageous; qualified by experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients and act as main contact for accounting and taxation.
• Prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Ltds.
• Develop client relationships and provide practical accounting guidance.
• Support and mentor accounts team.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with Directors to grow the practice.
