Job summary

Better Placed in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior PR Executive to support the development and execution of the group’s PR strategy. You will enhance brand visibility, drive high‑quality engagement, and support the Influencer strategy.

The role collaborates with Marketing and Creative teams to implement strategic campaigns that align with business goals, ensure consistent messaging, and secure meaningful media coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a dedicated PR role, ideally in retail
• Experience with media partners and building relationships
• Collaborate with Digital/SEO, Social Media, Influencer and Creative teams
• Excellent copywriting and concept creation

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of relevant and exciting content to support strategy, bringing creative ideas
• Write and distribute press releases, company announcements, and other media communications
• Analyse PR and media campaign performance to ensure conversion and provide reporting
• Maintain strong relationships with journalists, media professionals and PR agencies to secure ongoing media coverage

This Senior PR Executive is an important member of this progressive Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the groups PR strategy and to enhance brand visibility, drive high-quality engagement, and continue to support their Influencer strategy.

The role will collaborate closely with the brands wider Marketing and Creative teams to create and implement strategic PR campaigns that align with business goals, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging.

• Manage the flow of relevant and exciting new content to support strategy, brining creative and innovative ideas and concepts
• Write and distribute press releases, company announcements, and other media communications
• Analyse PR and Media campaign performance to ensure conversion, reporting on performance
• Maintain strong relationships with journalists, media professionals and PR agencies to secure ongoing media coverage and opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency and PR strategy is championed throughout all campaigns.

The experience I’m looking for:

• Ideally 3+ years in a dedicated PR role. Ideally retail experience gained either directly or whilst working at an agency (need to have consumer PR experience)
• Working with established Media partners and building own relationships
• Experience working collaboratively with Digital/ SEO, Social Media, Influencer and Creative teams or agencies
• Excellent creative and copywriting skills and concept creation.
