Job summary

Rivan is seeking a Senior Power System engineer to lead the design of a >1MW solar array and its power distribution for our Bermondsey HQ in London, ensuring seamless integration with a DC electrolyser and a thermal reactor's heating elements, plus an inverter for AC distribution.

The role offers significant share options, visa sponsorship, private health insurance and unlimited time off. In-person work at our Bermondsey HQ with flexible arrangements based on personal circumstances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in power systems or solar array design.
• Certifying solar arrays and combiner panels to BS & IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing >1MW scale solar array and power distribution.
• Integrate with DC electrolyser and thermal reactor heating elements.
• Design a high-power inverter for downstream AC distribution.
• Combiner box design and optimisation.
• Cable layout, sizing and containment designs.
• Solar array cost optimisation: modelling configurations and assembly methods.
