Job summary

Rivan is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for hands-on, on-site work across project sites and our London factory. You will lead LV electrical setup, commission solar arrays and RNG plant systems, and contribute to electrical design and remote monitoring.

The role requires field-based execution, fault finding, and adherence to electrical safety standards, with private health insurance and relocation/travel support offered.

Qualifications

Experience on active project sites for electrical installations and commissioning.
Experience with installation, commissioning, testing and operation of electrical systems.
Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition, Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive.
Hazardous area commissioning experience (ATEX).
Familiarity with IEC 61511/ IEC 61508 functional safety and EN ISO 13845/ EN 62061 machinery safety.

Responsibilities

Lead temporary and permanent LV electrical site setup.
Commission solar array electrical systems.
Commission RNG plant electrical systems.
Contribute to site-wide electrical design and improvements.
SCADA and remote monitoring commissioning.
Contribute to operational improvements of our systems.
