Job summary

RTX Raytheon UK is seeking a Hardware Design Authority (Power Electronics) to lead complex electronic systems from concept to qualification and beyond. You will act as the technical focal point for design assurance, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.

The role offers relocation support within Scotland, SC clearance eligibility, and opportunity to influence product direction in a high‑stakes defence environment.

Qualifications

• DEF-STAN/MIL-STD compliance knowledge.
• European Directives knowledge (Low Voltage, EMC).
• Product design for manufacture, assembly and test.

Responsibilities

• Drive assurance and quality of the product design artefacts.
• Mentor hardware engineers and future DAs.
• Lead design and development of power electronic systems from concept to qualification.
