Job summary

RTX Raytheon UK is seeking an Engineering Manager for Power & Test Equipment to lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive lifecycle support across power, CAS and test solutions. You will report to the Head of Engineering and partner with Programme Management, Operations and Quality to deliver safe, on-time and cost-effective outcomes.

The role requires senior leadership, strong systems engineering knowledge and the ability to navigate a matrix organisation while building a high‑performing culture

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex power/test products.
• Ability to influence across multiple functions in a matrix organisation.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and lifecycle management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in budget, risk, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire engineers across Power and Test Equipment product lines.
• Provide direction focusing on safety, quality, delivery and objectives.
• Represent Engineering in SLT reviews with concise programme health reporting.
• Recruit, mentor and develop engineers and emerging leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and ways of working.
• Support product lifecycle from design through manufacturing and service.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Service teams.
