Job summary

Lenovo HPC team seeks a Technical Consultant for Power and Cooling to join its Global Professional Services group. This fully remote role requires 50% travel to customer sites and will provide technical leadership on large-scale liquid cooling deployments.

You will liaise with customers, decipher RFPs, and architect power and cooling solutions while collaborating with sales and engineering to define scope and costs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading as a technical consultant in power and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on-site for large-scale liquid cooling deployments.
• Liaise with Lenovo customers and act as trusted advisor for power and cooling requirements.
• Decipher complex RFP requirements and design IT solutions.
• Architect power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to determine scope and costs.
• Drive build vs. buy decisions and identify key technologies.
• Engage with Development and CDU providers to stay current.
• Provide engineering guidance across power, mechanical, thermal, and plumbing disciplines.
