You will lead the cash and depot reconciliation processes, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, and act as the primary escalation point for complex issues with internal stakeholders, custodians, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily post-settlement operational activities across multiple asset classes, ensuring processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements.
• Manage the team's completion of cash and depot reconciliations, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and reporting of reconciliation breaks and exceptions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex post-settlement issues, driving resolution with internal stakeholders, custodians, counterparties, technology, and support teams as required.
• Monitor operational risk and control effectiveness by reviewing outstanding exceptions, aged breaks, and key performance metrics, escalating material issues where appropriate.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members, supporting their development and ensuring adherence to procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reconciliation controls, automate manual processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
• Produce and present management information on reconciliation performance, outstanding exceptions, service delivery, and operational risk to senior management
