Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the POS team on a fully remote basis in Europe. You will work across the React Native frontend, Python/FastAPI backend, and AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure to deliver the next generation of Cloudbeds' hospitality POS experience.

You will own end-to-end responsibilities, including staff and device workflows, menus, orders, payments, and offline capabilities, while maintaining reliability and scalable architecture for hotels of all sizes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with mobile or frontend development (React Native, Expo).
• Experience with cloud-native delivery and operations (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
• Experience building real-time transactional systems in hospitality or adjacent domains.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end POS features across React Native frontend and Python backend.
• Design, build, deploy, and operate POS components including staff/workflows, payments, and receipts.
• Oversee deployment configurations with Terraform, Argo CD, Helm, and AWS.
• Ensure reliability, testing, observability, and security of production systems.
• Collaborate across product, design, payments, and infrastructure teams.
