Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Revenue Intelligence to shape the technical direction of systems that drive pricing, demand insights, and commercial decisions for hospitality clients. You will work across customer-facing apps, backend services, data pipelines, and ML workflows in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering leadership across complex production systems.
• Deep hands-on Python experience guiding cross-language decisions.
• Strong cloud, distributed systems, and data-processing expertise (PostgreSQL/Redshift).

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve the technical strategy for Revenue Intelligence, translating goals into architecture.
• Lead design and delivery across web apps, APIs, data pipelines, and workflows.
• Identify and resolve systemic risks in scalability, security, data quality, and operability.
• Modernize legacy systems through careful migrations preserving production stability.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure, Security to define platform direction.
• Remain hands-on in the codebase with spikes, design reviews, and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical effectiveness of the organization.
