Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Portering Services professional to ensure smooth, efficient operations across the non-clinical estates. You will liaise with the Portering Manager and staff by phone, radio and written procedures to exchange information and coordinate tasks.

Responsibilities include arranging rotas, supporting recruitment, supervising HR policies, and managing out-of-hours duties such as in-mortuary viewings when required.

Responsabilités

• Coordination of rotas and staff allocations with Portering Manager.
• Supervise and implement HR policies for Portering Services.
• Assist with staff appraisals, training, team briefs and Return to Work interviews.
• Ensure health and safety and fire regulations compliance.
• Handle out-of-hours portering duties including mortuary viewings and releases.
