Partnering Health Ltd. is seeking a senior podiatrist to work across HMP Channing Wood and HMP Exeter in offender health. You will assess and treat patients as an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload and waitlists, with involvement in a multidisciplinary team.

The role covers nail surgery, biomechanics, wound care and diabetes care; you will work largely on site with lone working and ongoing CPD delivery. Registration with HCPC and SOCAP is required.

Qualifications

• HCPC and SOCAP registration are required.
• At least 3 years of post-graduate NHS experience is required.
• Experience in podiatry including advanced procedures such as nail surgery and biomechanics is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage own clinical caseload and waiting lists in partnership with the HMP site.
• Assess patients and formulate individualised management and treatment plans.
• Deliver podiatric treatments including nail surgery, MSK and biomechanics, wound care and diabetes care.
• Obtain informed consent and work within legal frameworks for patients lacking capacity.
• Provide specialist advice and training to the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in CPD and audits.
