Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients, formulate management plans.
• Manage own clinical caseload and waiting lists.
• Deliver podiatric treatments including nail surgery, MSK and biomechanics, wound care, diabetes care.
• Take clinical responsibility for a designated caseload and prioritize by clinical need.
• Obtain informed consent and work within legal capacity constraints.
• Educate patients and carers on self-care and condition.
• Provide specialist teaching to the multidisciplinary team.
• Keep accurate records and communicate with appropriate bodies.
• Participate in CPD, audits and data collection.
• Maintain professional standards and health-and-safety procedures.
