Job summary

Ordnance Survey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Consultant in Positioning, Navigation and Time (PNT) for a full-time hybrid role based in Southampton. The role requires SME-level PNT expertise, strong GNSS knowledge and the ability to collaborate across government, academia and industry.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver PNT innovations, support national strategic plans, and provide operational delivery with 24/7 duty flexibility.

Qualifications

• A recognised domain expert and ideally educated to master’s degree level in PNT or a related subject.
• Experience in lieu of a degree is also acceptable.
• Ideally a member of an applicable professional body, e.g. RIN, RICS

Responsibilities

• Developing, delivering and supporting innovation, project and operational activities for PNT.
• Collaborating across OS, government, academia and industry on national and business strategic plans.
• Provide operational support for delivery of PNT commitments and be available 24/7 for duty periods.
