Job summary

Advanced Navigation in the UK seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer in geospatial navigation to drive pre-sales activity, understand customer requirements, and design tailored solutions leveraging GNSS and INS technologies.

You will demonstrate products, develop PoCs, and collaborate with sales and product teams to win new business and expand existing accounts, with occasional travel to client sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales or technical sales role in tech.
• Strong GNSS, INS, cloud, networking and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record in driving sales outcomes.
• Experience in surveying, maritime, or robotics domains preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and Matlab for data analysis.
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Technical consultation and solution design for prospects and customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and tailored presentations.
• Lead PoC development to validate feasibility and value.
• Analyze requirements and translate into actionable designs.
• Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales cycle.
• Occasional travel to customer sites for meetings or deployments.
