Job description

The Role:

We are looking for a PMO Analyst to support our client projects and coordinate with our consultancy’s sales and delivery functions.

Reporting to the Operations Director and being a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO), the PMO Analyst plays a multifaceted role at the intersection of operational oversight and project execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, update reports to generate data-driven insights, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and initiatives. Working closely with engagement and delivery leads, you will be the primary contact for project administration.

To qualify, you should possess the basics of a strong PMO Analyst. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, teamwork, and a problem-solving attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities:

1. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various functions to align goals, resources, and priorities with business objectives.
2. Standardisation and Best Practices: Maintain standard processes, tools, and practices across the PMO.
3. Project Support: Assist in project setup and monitoring, including onboarding clients and consultants, and support guidance to managers ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
4. Resource Management: Support resource allocation and tracking, maintaining accurate records of availability, allocations, and dependencies.
5. Risk and Issue Management: Help identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, maintain risk registers, and support resolution activities.
6. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Generate reports on project costs, resource use, and key metrics; support analysis for decision-making.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure project documentation meets quality standards and conduct quarterly reviews of repositories.
8. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
9. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness within the PMO.

Requirements include a good understanding of project coordination in the software services sector, familiarity with software development methodologies, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
