About the role
As a Data Strategy PMO Analyst, you will contribute meaningfully from the outset. This role offers a great opportunity to manage the PMO for a complex Data Strategy & Architecture programme, ensuring effective governance, planning, reporting, risk management, and delivery support to enable successful programme execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
What you will be doing
This role reports to the Data Strategy Programme Manager and includes the following responsibilities:
Governance & Oversight
- Establishing and maintaining governance documentation, ensuring compliance with change frameworks
- Maintaining accurate record-keeping and document control
- Attending and facilitating key forums, including scheduling, circulating materials, taking minutes, and monitoring actions
- Adhering to change control and approval processes, working with the programme team to ensure an acceptable audit trail for key artefacts and decisions
- Promoting best practices, standards, and tools to ensure consistency across the programme in collaboration with Enterprise PMO
Planning, Scheduling & Management Support
- Maintaining and tracking the integrated programme plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and milestones
- Maintaining milestone tracker from each workstream and consolidating into the programme view
- Understanding the plan and dependencies to analyze impacts if milestones shift
- Engaging proactively with Workstream Leads to identify and support needs
- Liaising with Enterprise PMO to reflect programme information in the overall roadmap
- Managing the team mailbox, coordinating logistics, and organizing meetings/workshops
Tracking, Reporting & Insights
- Providing accurate and timely programme reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive updates
- Preparing management information packs for executive audiences, ensuring message consistency
- Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies with appropriate mitigation
- Logging actions and seeking updates proactively
- Working with Finance to provide budget and forecast reports
Resource Management
- Tracking and managing resource allocation
- Supporting hiring and onboarding processes
- Maintaining a team holiday tracker and flagging resource issues
About you

Essential:
- Administrative experience in a demanding project environment
- Knowledge of project management frameworks, PMO policies, processes, and their benefits
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and collaborative
- Experience in investment management sector and data strategy projects
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience writing executive summaries and working in an Executive-facing Portfolio Management Office
- Competency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Forms, Planner, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, BigPicture)
- Data analysis skills and investment data terminology knowledge
