Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager within the PMCM Education team to lead delivery of high-value infrastructure projects for the Department for Education and similar clients. The role requires effective leadership, proactive management at client and project levels, and a focus on programme, cost and quality management.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage procurement and contracts, and ensure value for money while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering public sector projects with Local and Central Government agencies.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to infrastructure projects (CDM).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects from RIBA 1 to 6, providing consultancy PM services to the client.
• Developing plans and strategies to deliver project objectives.
• Select and manage the project team.
• Identify and resolve differences between stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to client and challenge proposals as they develop.
• Produce feasibility studies and high-quality client reports.
