Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of high-value infrastructure projects for education and similar clients. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes, cost, and quality while partnering with the client as Lead Consultant.

You will demonstrate leadership, risk and contract management, and experience across feasibility to operation, with a focus on value and client satisfaction. Hybrid working in the UK is available.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in delivery of public sector projects, Education sector preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations for infrastructure projects (CDM).
• Experience from Feasibility through to Operation and stage deliverables.
• Experience in procurement of contractors and development of contractual documents.
• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team for a client.
• Experience in development and management of programmes and risk management.
• Understanding of cost management and value for the client whilst maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects from RIBA 1 to 6 and providing consultancy PM services.
• Developing plans and strategies to deliver project objectives.
• Selecting, developing and managing the project team.
• Addressing and resolving differences between stakeholders.
• Empowering and inspiring others to deliver successful projects.
• Agreeing contracts on behalf of the client with legal teams and monitoring compliance.
• Producing Feasibility Studies and delivering high-quality reports.
• Managing procurement and construction phases, challenging proposals to ensure value.
• Monitoring progress against programmes and applying mitigation strategies.
