Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex highways schemes across the full project lifecycle. The role involves direct line management of project managers and driving delivery on budgets, schedules and compliance.

The candidate should have extensive experience in mechanical, electrical and technology highway projects, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways/mechanical & electrical or related projects.
• PM qualification preferred (PRINCE2, APMP, etc).
• HNC/HND in mechanical/electrical or civil engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships with Portfolio Manager, Delivery Leads and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DBFO contract and maintain records and change management.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.
• Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Prepare investment proposals for clients at each stage.
• Oversee programme income and cost profiles and insights for PM input.
• Lead regular project reviews and maintain risk and change registers.
• Coordinate site reporting, permits and interfaces with design teams.
