Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead aviation and infrastructure projects with a focus on Gatwick Airport, operating in a live environment.

You will manage design, procurement and construction delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure programmes meet safety, access and operational requirements while delivering value for the client. The role offers a permanent position with progression and exposure to major infrastructure programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex projects in consultancy or client-side delivery.
• Experience through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Understanding of live operational environments with phasing, access and interfaces.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractor performance.
• Strong client relationships and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Commercial awareness with risk and change management.
• Mentoring colleagues and supporting bids for new work.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation and infrastructure projects through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Manage delivery against scope, programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design, engineering, commercial and programme controls teams.
• Work with airport stakeholders to understand requirements and delivery strategies.
• Plan works around operational constraints, access, phasing and interfaces with assets.
• Manage contractor performance and interfaces with operational teams.
• Provide oversight of project risks, change control and commercial matters.
• Manage delivery under NEC contracts and other relevant forms of contract.
• Lead project meetings, report progress and support governance and investment decisions.
• Support a coordinated handover into operation and mentor juniors.
