Job summary

London Gatwick is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead design management across a commercial programme of multi‑million projects. You will manage design through from inception to completion, coordinating multi‑discipline teams and external consultants in a dynamic airport environment.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or Engineering, Chartered status is highly desirable, and familiarity with NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Live environment requires flexible and adaptable approach with problem solving skills.
• Experience coordinating design teams and multi-discipline engineering resources is desirable.
• Knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements for commercial building and fit-out projects.
• NEC contracts knowledge and their use within project delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management for a portfolio of multi-million projects within the Commercial Programme.
• Run design aspects from inception through to completion for assigned projects.
• Engage in early pre-project definitions with sponsors and shape the wider team.
• Coordinate design teams and external consultants to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical input to design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
