Job summary

Tessl, a London-based AI-native development startup, seeks a senior Product Staff member to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems end to end and help define how product is practised as the team grows.

This generalist role spans the CLI, core platform and new bets, turning model breakthroughs into reliable developer experiences while shaping the product process and strategy. You’ll build how teams work with AI, setting a high bar for quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management (or equivalent).
• Experience shipping real, technically demanding products end to end.
• Comfortable operating at a senior IC level with significant autonomy.
• Technical fluency and ability to partner with research and engineering.
• Ability to shape direction in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas end to end from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Develop deep product sense for developer workflows with engineers and researchers.
• Translate model capabilities into reliable, high-value developer experiences.
• Shape roadmap and strategy, not just execution, with a clear point of view.
• Lead through influence, aligning cross-functional teams and customers.
• Maintain high quality and rigour while moving quickly in a fast-changing product.
