Tessl, the AI-native development startup in London, is hiring a Software Engineer. You will build real-time AI Native workflows, tooling and interfaces that reshape how developers create and maintain software.

You will work autonomously with the engineering team, collaborating closely with product, design, and wider engineering to bring AI-native development to life in a fast-paced environment. We value hands-on experience with AI tools, rapid prototyping, and a track record of contributing to

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience in a fast, startup environment.
Proven experience using AI coding tools to accelerate work.
Comfort with rapid iteration, experimentation, and delivering robust code.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new functionality discussed with product teams.
Spin up proofs of concept to showcase innovative ideas.
Prototype language integrations for the code generation pipeline and plan scalable implementations.
Collaborate with designers to refine UI/CLI interactions.
Integrate third-party services to focus on Tessl’s core capabilities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan scalable architecture.
Establish end-to-end testing strategies for production deployments.
Share your technical vision for new product capabilities with the team.
