Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Operations to lead Web Producers, drive Page Builder configuration for Wiley Online Library, and ensure top-tier user experience for WOL customers. This role partners with senior Publishing Operations leaders and reports to the Senior Director, Publishing Operations.

Strong project management and client-facing skills are essential. The successful candidate will coach and develop a team, drive process improvements, and pursue automation opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degrees required.
• Experience in web production and managing individual contributors.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and managing internal/external projects.
• Interest in emerging web technologies and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Web Producers; coach, train and develop team members; monitor performance.
• Provide consultation internally and externally on Page Builder solutions that meet portfolio objectives.
• Define and enable robust business processes for on/off-boarding new products and microsites to Wiley Online Library; lead wide-scale Page Builder configuration efforts.
• Identify and communicate Page Builder enhancements as well as look for opportunities to implement automation and AI integrations.
• Coordinate UAT and/or regression testing for Page Builder feature enhancements and bug fixes.
• Advocate with WOL Product team for platform development to enhance and support Web Producers daily output; manage and support workload of team by aligning with other areas of the business on major projects to ensure appropriate timelines and output.
• Report to leadership on agreed performance metrics and team achievements.
