Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help build and operate high-scale SaaS platforms. You’ll work across full-stack system design for hybrid cloud, and distributed systems programming in Java, Rust, and other JVM-based languages, shaping platforms as products and driving reliability and observability.

You will own Kubernetes engineering, storage and data persistence, telemetry with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana, and collaboration across teams to reduce technical debt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience with Java, Rust or JVM-based languages.
• Strong background in building and operating SaaS at scale.
• Cloud experience with Kubernetes and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate high-scale SaaS platforms with a product mindset.
• Develop and extend Kubernetes-based platforms and operators.
• Implement robust telemetry, monitoring and incident response.
