Job summary

Anaplan in Manchester is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build the next generation of our platform as a product. You’ll design extensible, observable, and reliable systems, dealing with hybrid cloud, distributed services, and complex deployments.

You’ll work with Go, Java, Rust and JVM-based stacks, extend the Kubernetes API, write Operators, and own high-scale SaaS platform responsibilities with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and operating production-grade SaaS products.
• Proficient in Go, Rust, or JVM-based languages with memory and thread-safety focus.
• Experience extending Kubernetes and building operators.

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of the Anaplan Platform as a product.
• Design extensible, observable, and maintainable platform components.
• Write Kubernetes Operators and manage control plane logic.
• Scale microservices for high concurrency and low latency.
