dcoded. | B Corp ™ Certified is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Manchester to strengthen cloud infrastructure for a SaaS/fintech business. This hands-on role owns infrastructure, automation projects and helps development teams deploy reliably.

The ideal candidate has strong platform engineering experience, Terraform mastery, and hands-on CI/CD with Buildkite or GitHub Actions, plus cloud provider flexibility (GCP/Azure). Hybrid work includes three days in the Manchester office.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production cloud platforms.
• Cloud-agnostic mindset and ability to adapt across environments.
• Strong Terraform skills, reusable modules and IaC at scale.
• Hands-on CI/CD automation with modern tooling.

Responsabilités

• Designing and maintaining resilient cloud infrastructure with modular Terraform.
• Improving CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite/GitHub Actions) for consistent releases.
• Creating self-service tools, templates and documentation for teams.
• Embedding security into infrastructure and delivery workflows (secrets, IAM, access controls).
• Enhancing monitoring and observability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce cloud costs while maintaining performance.
• Translating architectural direction into practical solutions from design to production.
• Providing guidance and code reviews to peers.
