Job summary

E-Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that underpins critical solutions. The role focuses on AWS, Linux and Windows environments, IaC with CloudFormation/Terraform, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll design, implement and operate secure, highly available infrastructure, driving platform upgrades, migrations and automation while collaborating with product, development and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering AWS cloud environments.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and/or Terraform).
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, routing, load balancing and firewalls.

Manchester - 4 days in office, 1 day remote

A leading technology company are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to be part of the team responsible for the cloud infrastructure and operational platforms that underpin their critical solutions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement and maintain secure, highly available AWS infrastructure
• Operate and support production and non-production environments across multiple products
• Deliver infrastructure improvements, platform upgrades and cloud migration initiatives
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and/or Terraform
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Automate operational processes using scripting and configuration management tools

You will need to demonstrate:
