Job summary

Halian is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a growing engineering team responsible for building and evolving a modern cloud platform. The role focuses on Kubernetes-heavy infrastructure, IaC with Terraform, and automating cloud-native services.

Ideal candidates will have a software engineering mindset, enjoy designing scalable platform solutions, and be capable of improving deployment processes and platform reliability. Hybrid working environment offered in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven background in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps or Software Development.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and operational experience.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Linux and automation tooling experience.
• Development or scripting experience (Python, Go, Bash or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies.
