Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Manchester to shape and scale our engineering platform. You will build cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tooling for product teams, while driving reliability, security and FinOps across the organization.

You’ll collaborate with Product Engineering and InfoSec, mentor peers, and explore AI-assisted tooling to streamline workflows. Hybrid role with 2 office days per week and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, IaC, containers (Kubernetes), CI/CD, observability and automation.
• Ability to work pragmatically and across teams, handling ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, self-service tooling and automation for product teams.
• Improve reliability, observability, security and cloud cost (FinOps).
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, InfoSec and wider teams to design simple, scalable solutions.
• Explore AI-assisted tooling to enhance engineering workflows.
• Mentor other engineers; occasional on-call responsibilities.
