Job summary

Motability Operations is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to support, maintain and improve scalable cloud infrastructure. You will manage day-to-day operations and ensure platform availability, aligning with the Platform Services’ run/build squads in an agile environment.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and locations in Bristol, London or Edinburgh, reflecting a strong customer-centric cloud delivery focus.

Qualifications

• You have some experience using the command line and are interested in developing your skills further.
• You have an interest in scripting and some experience with Java or Python, whether through your studies, projects or personal learning.
• You’re interested in how software is developed and have some awareness of software development methodologies, such as Agile.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and improve highly scalable and reliable cloud platform infrastructure services.
• You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Cloud Platform and be accountable for its availability.
• Platform Services are responsible for ensuring that our cloud platforms are always available to meet the needs of our customers.
• The teams are organised into run and build squads and work in a fully agile way.
