Perplexity is seeking a product and platform engineer for the Enterprise Trust & Governance team. You will own end-to-end architecture and policy models, delivering admin experiences used by customer administrators and security teams across identity, provisioning, and governance.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, owning complex backend systems from design through production operation.
• Strong system design skills for reliable, scalable multi-tenant SaaS platforms with clear security and isolation boundaries.
• Proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, plus hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in enterprise identity and provisioning, permissions platforms, encryption, or enterprise admin platforms.
• Experience building or integrating enterprise identity and access systems (WorkOS, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID).
• Sound technical judgment balancing security, usability and delivery speed.
• Track record of leading ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from architecture through adoption.

Responsabilidades

• Own enterprise identity and provisioning (SSO, SCIM, WorkOS, Okta, Entra ID).
• Build the permissions platform with fine-grained roles and permissions across connectors, models, and actions.
• Design and ship secure, well-documented admin APIs for audit logs, members, groups, roles, and settings.
• Develop policy controls for model availability, staged rollouts, usage and spend limits, and cost-center allocation.
• Create admin-facing analytics for adoption, usage, spend, and policy enforcement.
• Deliver audit logs and change notifications for compliance and investigation.
• Set the bar for authorization correctness and tenant isolation, with clear failure behavior.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Success to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
