Job summary

PleoMessy is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Authentication and Authorisation team. You’ll own strategy, delivery and outcomes for the company’s IAM, working across SMB and Enterprise to modernise auth with high security and reliability.

You’ll report to the VP of Engineering, lead 6–10 engineers, collaborate with Product, Security and Core Platform, and drive a pragmatic migration path between legacy services and the Enterprise platform while maintaining performance and trust.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in engineering teams.
• Experience operating in security- or compliance-sensitive domains.
• Experience scaling teams with clear ownership and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for identity, authentication and authorisation across SMB and Enterprise.
• Drive delivery for the Authentication & Authorisation team and build secure, scalable systems.
• Roll out a new identity platform across Enterprise offerings.
• Define a migration strategy between SMB legacy services and Enterprise architecture.
• Update legacy auth services while maintaining high security, compliance, performance and trust.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance and Core Platform to align priorities and unblock dependencies.
• Guide technical decisions and architecture while fostering a high-performing team.
