Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud Governance Platform team. You will contribute to core components enforcing governance, identity security, and software supply-chain protections across cloud infrastructure and developer environments.

You will work hands-on on reliable, secure at-scale systems, with guidance from senior engineers and managers. The role supports a flexible remote model with global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong programming fundamentals in Golang and Python
• Hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, threat models, and mitigations
• Experience designing and operating highly reliable, scalable distributed systems
• Excellent communication and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Design and build core components of the Cloud Governance Platform with hands-on work on cloud IAM, security controls, and supply-chain security capabilities
• Contribute to roadmap for governance and security tooling across AWS and GCP
• Translate regulatory/compliance requirements into automated, enforced controls
• Build and maintain software supply-chain security tooling (SAST/DAST, CI/CD patterns)
• Collaborate with Infra, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering teams
• Share knowledge through code reviews, pairing, and collaboration
• Communicate ideas, tradeoffs, and risks clearly in design docs and discussions
• Champion the company’s cultural principles at scale
