Baringa seeks a senior Platform Software Engineer to join our new Platform team within Energy and Resources. You will help design, build and deploy a greenfield data platform and toolchain for internal colleagues.

You will work with modern languages, cloud, and DevOps, own architecture decisions, and contribute from day one in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that values curiosity and impact.

Formación

• Strong programming in languages like Scala, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with data platforms (SQL/NoSQL, Spark/Databricks).
• Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Experience with modern frontend/backend frameworks and architecture choices.

Responsabilidades

• Be a core member of the new Platform team, shaping the data platform and toolchain.
• Collaborate with engineers, energy modellers and clients to meet business needs.
• Drive design, development, testing and deployment with robust DevOps practices.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of team processes.
